I love the part that Bart spent the night watching the stars….

So apparently Ptolemy’s/Bart’s hair is naturally curly/wavy?? Yeah I didn’t know that LOL. Tbh I like drawing him with straight hair but he’s still cute either way.
too old and not sufficiently greasy, oh welp
don’t fret over Barti’s detonations going wide, Natty
I’m sure he’s very sorry (that it missed the rest of you)

and then i Bartimaeus’d ;w;
i’m not really a fan of the stereotypical “Egyptian” Cleopatra cut on him
he’s always been floofy-headed in my brain
y’know
elegantly disheveled
About Bartimaeus,
I just loooove whenever he changes form and whatever he becomes..
but personally I’m not good at animals… or monsters so I prefer drawing human forms. And I don’t mind if the Egyptian boy’s hair style is straight or curly.
I think the curly hair makes more sense but…. you see from this doodle,
straight hair is much easier for me to draw….FYI My history of affection to straight bobbed-hair is very long.
(For example, Zeros from Slayers, Haku from Spirited Away, Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle, Akira from Hikaru no Go, Shinkohyo from Hoshin Engi….haha….)Anyway, since I finished reading the Ring of Solomon, the Sumerian boy became my second favorite form of Bartimaeus. I can’t deny that he has certain sophisticated sense of style. Funny that I can’t draw curly hair or ringlet very well…..
It’s been 5 years since I got the trilogy from my aunt and fell in love with Bart. However, it never seems to end.
Oh, Bart. What have you done to me?
Bart: Looking a little red there, Natty — I’m guessing you’re liking the new form?
Nat: Silence, Bartimaeus.
older!Ptolemy!Bart and Nat; Nat is such a tsundere.
